Hi, I’m Natasha.

Ooh, look at me welcoming you to my creative blog, where I will introduce you to all the fun, creative and crazy things I get up to.

I am a wife and a mother to my 3 children and 2 dogs, so you can imagine how chaotic it can get in our house.

“Ooh, look at me!” is an ironic name because I actually don’t like drawing attention to myself or my family, yet I really like inspiring others to be creative because I know how fulfilling it can be. The name also comes from something silly we used to say years ago and it kind of just stuck with me.

Check out our About Us page for more information about us and what we do.

I hope this brings you creative joy

Ooh, look at me sharing my knitting journey with you……

Knitting is a craft I learnt at the end of 2015.  I now can’t decide which I like more, knitting or crochet!  I was slightly afraid of trying knitting because it seemed quite complicated.  I started really simple - with a children’s book, called “Stitch by Stitch” by Jane Bull.  I got a bit frustrated with it because I struggled to hold the yarn and I couldn't get my tension right.  It was a right mess, so I turned to my trusty old friend - the Internet.  There, I found the wonderful Expression Fibre Arts YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/user/ExpressionFiberArts.  Chandi teaches in such a fun and crazy way, which makes it much easier to learn.  I learnt very quickly from her beginner tutorials.  She also has such a collection of beautiful projects to try for all levels of skill and she even sells yarn that she dyes herself!  I hope that one day I can afford to buy some - it’s AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS!  My knitting journey definitely got a positive boost, thanks to Chandi.

I hope this brings you creative joy and inspires you to start your own yarn-tastic journey.
